Jim Barnes has been an ABC Certified Orthotist for 43 years. After receiving his degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Cerritos College in Norwalk, California, Jim completed a one-year Orthotics residency at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California. Jim began his career as Director of Orthotics and Prosthetics at the Rehabilitation Engineering Center at Stanford Children’s Hospital, Palo Alto, California. The following years of practice have included a broad spectrum of patients, from infants to the elderly, and virtually every type of patient orthotic needs. In 1984 Jim was brought to Atlanta to start the Orthotics and Prosthetics department at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital (now CHOA). And now, Jim is pleased to continue serving the patient’s orthotic needs at Hyde Prosthetics and Orthotics In Stockbridge, GA.
